The Space: The home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms It’s perfect for a group of friends on a retreat or a group of couples. The oversized backyard has a covered patio, a beautiful 18x30 swimming pool, a large spa that fits 8, 1 double size hammock, a BBQ grill, and a fire pit. The home is within walking distance of downtown 29 Palms with vintage shopping, restaurants, and the 29 Palms weekly Saturday Farmer’s market. Nearby locations are, Kitchen in the Desert, the 29 Palms Inn, Shop Habitat, and the Tortoise Rock Casino with Tesla charging stations. It’s also 15 minutes away from Joshua Tree Village and 20 minutes away from Yucca Valley. Pets: Only 1 pet per stay is preferred. $50 pet fee for the entire stay.

The Pool is not heated. No Extra charge to heat the jacuzzi.

This was easily our favorite AirBnB so far! From the stunning style of the home itself, inside & outside, it felt like we were in a relaxing desert oasis. We fully enjoyed every bit of it—the decor/style, lovely artwork, beautiful bedrooms, clean bathrooms, cozy yet spacious kitchen, comfy living room, BBQ, & pool/jacuzzi. We loved & very much appreciated the pool during the hot desert day time! The lit up jacuzzi was amazing at night time too. Location is perfectly close to Joshua Tree National Park & very close as well to the downtown shops & stores. We would certainly love to come back to this amazing home! Thank you for being a kind, helpful host to us!

This was one of my best visits ever to JT. The home was so welcoming, the location was great, and the pool was amazing!! I was worried the AC units wouldn’t be able to keep up with 115 degree heat but was pleasantly surprised to find the bedrooms cooled down almost immediately and the rest of the house was pleasant by the next morning (again 115!! I’m sure if it was 95 out the house would have cooled faster). 15/10 great place.

Really cool house built in the old 1940's adobe style. I especially loved the pool. Host was responsive and friendly. Had a chance to meet the handyman. He was a cool guy too. The house is located near the downtown core with lots of shops and restaurants. The coolest thing was realizing you can see a real life oasis from the front and backyard. Part of The Oasis of Mara lies due SE of the property by about 700 yards.

Our stay here was really amazing. We spent a lot of time in the outdoor area - grilling lunch and dinner, working from the outdoor table, enjoying the pool in the sunshine, and winding down in the hot tub at the end of the day. The house was really nice and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were super comfortable. Would 10/10 recommend!

My family had an incredible time here during spring break. The layout of the house is great and everything was very clean. We loved the authenticity and nod to culture and the landscape. The backyard was our favorite, the pool and spa were lovely as well as the big picnic table outside. The yard is also fully fenced, which is amazing. If I had any notes, for the desert in general, it would be to watch out for the indigenous prickly plants. I kept my dog on his leash in the backyard for this reason. Overall, I would definitely recommend Jenine’s place to anyone!

Jenine and Ashton were awesome- probably the most responsive and helpful hosts I’ve encountered. Their home and backyard are just as pictured and it was an absolute pleasure to use their space for a nice little get away

Jenine's place was perfect for our group of 6. We were in 29 Palms for a friend's 50th birthday and the celebrations were taking place at the Out There Bar, which is walking distance from the house. The town of Joshua Tree is just 10 minutes up the road. The house was clean and well equipped with everything that we needed in the kitchen. The pool was a bit cold in the late afternoobn but that was to be expected mid-October--it was perfect during the day. The jacuzzi and grill both worked and Jenine left us towels and instructions for everything. The water pressure and hot water worked well and the beds were firm, but clean and we had plenty of blankets and pillows. The two larger bedrooms had mini-split air conditioners that worked well and ceiling fans, but the smaller room only had a ceiling fan (no A/C). This was not an issue for us, but you might keep it in mind if you are traveling in the middle of summer. Overall, we had a great time and would book Jenine's house again.

We had a fantastic stay at Jenine’s place! Despite a couple of unexpected issues that arose during our visit, which were out of her control, Jenine was incredibly responsive and attentive. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, making our experience truly enjoyable. The accommodations were wonderful, Highly recommend staying here!
